On 29 September, two members of McCarron Coates’ staff and I will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge alongside a team from the Insurance Institute of Leeds to raise money and awareness for its President’s chosen charity, Leeds Mind.

McCarron Coates will be represented by myself, Amy Bell and Tia Howard. Training is going well, and the team is ready for the challenge.

The team will walk across the hills of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The distance is 24 miles, 1585m of ascent and our aim is to complete the challenge in under 12 hours.

If anyone would like to sponsor the team on this challenge, then donations can be made on the group fundraising page, found at j.mp/2CEaLVb

People can also donate by texting our code “CIIL84” and an amount (£1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10) to 70070. Texts are free.

More about this fantastic charity can be found at www.leedsmind.org.uk

On behalf of the team, the Institute and Leeds Mind, thank you very much for your support.

Ian McCarron, Director,
McCarron Coates, Leeds
