Five Mellor Orions have recently joined Telford and Wrekin Council’s fleet

Telford and Wrekin Council has recently purchased five Fiat Ducatos with coachbuilt, full low-floor Orion bodies, supplied by Mellor Coachcraft (01706 860610).

They will provide specialist transport for children with disabilities, and will also be used on skills trips for older children. Dial-a-Ride and social shopper routes will also be part of their workload.

To cater for these varied requirements while still providing comfort for passengers, each minibus has a power door and seatbelts on each of its 16 seats.

They also have a rear-mounted fold-out ramp and additional equipment storage boxes.
