Andrew McGuinness has been appointed to the new role of Regional Manager for the CPT’s Northern and Yorkshire regions.
Other than a short spell working as a Sales Manager for Mecca, Andrew has spent his entire career in the coach and bus industry. Starting out in customer service roles for Go North East and then Stagecoach, he went on to set up his own company providing open top bus tours in Newcastle.
Upon leaving this position Andrew was appointed Area Manager for the Citysightseeing group with direct responsibility for overseeing and developing operations in Durham, Newcastle, South Tyneside and Sunderland.
More recently he has worked in the public sector with Nexus in a variety of roles, including; Stations Manager for Tyne and Wear Metro; Infrastructure Manager, based in the Metro control room, and Community Relations Officer managing stakeholder relations for the PTE.
