Lots of thought has gone into the interiors of minibuses that are produced by Treka Bus, an area that it says is often overlooked by some manufacturers. Treka’s goal has always been to provide a light and airy environment for passengers, while assuring operators of resilience and longevity.
Knowing the tough lives that its minibuses lead, Treka manufactures their interiors from GRP in its own dedicated factory. That provides a tough, lightweight and versatile material that is also welcoming to passengers.
With a focus on cleanliness and infection control that has seen it deliver multiple NHS contracts in recent years, Treka has continued to redesign its interiors.
That has seen the largest such interiors now finished in just five pieces of fibreglass, which minimises gaps between panels to prevent the accumulation of dirt and helps to reduce noise inside the minibus.
The interior of a Treka minibus is always finished in a two-tone colour scheme, with mid-grey lowers and light grey uppers. All have a light texture to provide a tactile experience and a welcoming environment.
Treka has extended its thinking beyond its own processes, and in partnership with Phoenix Seating it offers an anti-stain, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial treatment for all seating as standard and at no cost to the buyer.
