The 2025 UK Coach Rally is shaping up well according to organisers, with only a handful of vehicle entry spaces showing as remaining at the time of writing ahead of the gathering in Blackpool over the weekend of 12 and 13 April.

Visit Blackpool is hosting the event, and the Imperial Hotel is offering discounted rates for attendees. As in previous years, proceedings will commence with a road run around the Lancashire countryside on the Saturday morning before moving to driving heats.

Vehicle judging and the driving finals will take place on the Sunday ahead of presentation of trophies. This year’s entry field listed on the event website shows several newcomers in addition to many established supporters, with coaches due from operators in England, Scotland and Wales.

Saturday evening will see a Wild West Hoedown at the Blackpool Winter Gardens, including dinner, line dancing, a disco, and much else. A free shuttle will run between the Imperial Hotel and the Winter Gardens, with event tickets priced at ÂŁ70 including VAT.

A trade exhibition will be staged on the promenade, with several coach manufacturers and dealerships confirmed as attending.

Coach Displays and the Cousins family are again organising the UK Coach Rally in 2025. “This year we are seeing even greater enthusiasm from coach companies eager to showcase their vehicles and talents,” says Ann Cousins. “It is shaping up to be an incredible weekend.”

While the Rally has a competitive element, Visit Blackpool points out how that is only one element of the event.

“It is an opportunity for coach operators, drivers and enthusiasts to reconnect, learn, and celebrate the significant contributions made to the travel and tourism sector,” says the tourism arm of Blackpool Council.

“Coaching is an essential part of how we travel and connect with each other,” adds a spokesperson. “This event shines a spotlight on the incredible work and dedication of the people in the industry. We are proud to host this rally, and we cannot wait to welcome visitors to Blackpool once again.”
