The new Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is Matt Hancock, MP for West Suffolk. He replaces Karen Bradley, who has become Secretary for Northern Ireland.
Ukinbound has already written to Mr Hancock to reiterate key issues in tourism, including:
- An immigration and visa system that’s flexible to business needs
- Access to a skilled workforce
- A strong Tourism Sector Deal
- A strong narrative promoting the UK as a welcoming destination.
