”Not all heroes wear capes,” says Yellow Buses and Yellow Coaches in Bournemouth, which has amended its ‘thank you’ bus to further celebrate the hard work of the staff across its business.
The bus is decorated with photos of its staff and drivers who continue to provide essential travel for key workers and residents during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
The operator has been busy throughout the pandemic, personally delivering the Destination Awards for the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) area last month, and assisting a BCP Council initiative earlier this month in delivering food parcels to 439 families across the conurbation during the half term break.
“As a locally owned, locally operated business, we are proud of the part we play in the local community and have adapted our business like every other during the coronavirus restrictions,” says David Squire, Managing Director at Yellow Buses and Yellow Coaches. “We are delighted to praise our amazing staff during this period with messaging on our ‘thank you’ bus, posters in out sites and the town centre Alight Media displays.
“Both the company and its staff are part of this amazing local community. We salute them all as our heroes.”
