Pelican Bus and Coach has 20 Yutong GT12s on order for 2019 stock

Yutong’s GT12 high-floor touring coach made its Irish debut at the CTTC show in Dublin, with supplier Pelican Bus and Coach reaffirming that the initial stock batch of 20 right-hand drive examples will arrive in late-April.

10 of them are already sold, some of which will subsequently be downseated from the standard 53-seat plus centre sunken toilet arrangement.

Additionally, Pelican expects to register 70 TC9s in the UK in 2018 and it is confident that 2019 will deliver a similar result for the 9.3m midicoach.

It also reports that the first right-hand drive zero-emission TCe12s, of which two have been ordered by Raynes Park operator Westway, are on schedule to arrive in the UK in Q2 2019.
