Bernard Kavanagh and Sons of Kilkenny has taken delivery of three 9900 integrals. They are part of a nine-coach order from Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

Those flagships are joined by two B11Rs with Jonckheere JHV2 bodies and four B8Rs with Plaxton Panther bodywork. It takes to 32 the number of Volvo coaches supplied to the operator in the last three years, says Bernard Kavanagh Director Emmett Kavanagh.

“The operational performance and reliability of the B11R is a key factor in our decisions. We are looking forward to operating the 9900. Its predecessor the 9700 proved itself time and time again for us.

“We are confident that our drivers and passengers alike will enjoy all that this premium, state-of-the-art coach has to offer.”
