The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) has launched CPT Energy, a new service dedicated to helping members get the very best rates from utility providers for their business energy (gas and electric) that could save members £970 on their energy bills.

CPT President Martin Dean (left) and Ed Varley from Make It Cheaper launch CPT Energy.

Launched in partnership with CPT’s new Commercial Partner, Make It Cheaper Ltd – the UK’s leading business energy price comparison service – CPT Energy has been designed to save time, money and hassle when dealing with utility companies and switching tariffs at contract renewal times.

CPT Energy also gives members access to a similar business telecoms and business water services.

CPT’s Commercial and Business Development Director, Peter Gomersall, says: “Make It Cheaper understands that our members’ time and money is precious, and the new CPT Energy service will allow them to focus on what is most important of all – the smooth running of their businesses.

“Each time a member submits a comparison request on the CPT Energy website or calls the dedicated telephone line, Make It Cheaper searches over 50 prices to find the very best value packages.”

Ed Varley, Energy Director at Make It Cheaper said: “Everyone at Make It Cheaper is really excited by the launch of CPT Energy and is looking forward to helping CPT members save time, money and hassle on their business utilities.”

CPT Energy also gives members access to ‘Do It For You’, an exclusive service created so members never have to deal with energy renewals again. CPT Energy will handle everything on your behalf moving forward, so you can say goodbye to expensive rolling contracts and ‘emergency tariffs’.
