New to Esk Valley Coaches of Whitby is a Volvo B8R with Panther bodywork, supplied by Plaxton (01909 551166).
The 12.8m model has 53 seats and a toilet. It will be used on a variety of work, including school contracts, corporate hires and excursions, says Director Keith Simpson.
“We have invested significantly in our fleet over the past two year and we now carry around 500,000 passengers per annum. That means we must be focused and deliver the quality services that people expect.
“We already have Panther and Cheetah XL products, and we are well aware of the all-round support provided by Plaxton. It wasn’t a difficult decision when it came to enhancing our fleet still further.”
