Milford Haven operator Evans Coaches has taken delivery of its first Yutong: A TC9 supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).

It is a 37-seater that comes with a Cummins ISB6.7 engine rated at 320bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Also part of the specification are alloy wheels. The coach additionally carries a new style of livery application for the South Wales firm.

The TC9 was handed over to Philip Evans of Evans Coaches by Steve White at Pelican’s dedicated showroom in Castleford.

The sale represents further success for the TC9, which dominates the rear-engined midicoach sector. In the Yutong range it is complemented by the larger TC12 and GT12 diesels, and the zero-emission TCe12.
