Purple Tuesday supported by Go-Ahead companies

Brighton and Hove and Metrobus supported the international Purple Tuesday on 12 November by offering disabled concessionary card holders free travel for a ‘plus one’ of their choice.

The day focuses on changing experiences for disabled people and thinking about their needs year-round. Some concessionary card holders already have a ‘plus one’ entitlement. Those passengers could take two people with them for free.

Says Martin Harris, MD of Brighton and Hove and Metrobus: “Everybody deserves to feel relaxed and confident while they travel. We always strive to make our buses and the information we provide about them as accessible as we can.

“We’re pleased to support Purple Tuesday.”
