Four Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with Strata bodies have joined the fleet of Reays Coaches, supplied by Mellor (01706 860610).
Each is accessible to wheelchair users and has a capacity of 22 passengers. All four are used on bus routes in Carlisle and surrounding villages.
Says Reays Coaches Head of Sales and Marketing Kerrie Allison: “We estimate that each of the Stratas has already covered over 70,000km since delivery earlier this year.
“We are very happy with the build quality and the operational performance of the Stratas, which are proving their worth in terms of fuel efficiency and the state-of-the-art amenities they provide to passengers.
“Those include wi-fi and USB charging points – which you would expect to find in any other modern bus.”
