A Stagecoach double-decker burst in to flames in Exeter on Saturday (2 September).

70% of the ADL Enviro400 was destroyed in the blaze, which needed 2,500l of water and 14l of foam to put out, on the A379 near the Peamore garage between Devon Motel and Kenn.

Stagecoach said no passengers were on board at the time and that driver found a safe place to stop and contacted the emergency services.
