Truemans Coaches of Ash Vale, Hampshire, was placed into administration on Monday 27 April. David Taylor and Paul Ellison of KRE Corporate Recovery LLP have been appointed as joint administrators.

An early statement on Truemans’ website says that the administrators will be writing to all creditors in due course. It advises that customers who have paid for a booking or a deposit using a credit card should contact their card provider for a refund.

Truemans Coaches is among a growing number of coach operators to have entered administration during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

It was established in 1953 and undertook work including UK and continental touring, private and corporate hire and school contracts. It has an O-Licence for 18 vehicles, being well-known for its fleet of blue-liveried coaches.

More information will be added when it is available.
