The number of people using buses continues to decline, according to the latest Department for Transport figures for April-June.
They show year-on-year decreases in England (-1.6%), Scotland (-2%) and Wales (-1.9%).
The decline in London has eased, being -0.7%, compared with -2.4% in the rest of England.
For the year ending 30 June, there were 4.43bn journeys in England, down by 1.7% on 2016.
