Asset Alliance Group has promoted Michael Bycroft to the newly-created position of Managing Director, Asset Finance and Leasing. He steps up from the role of Managing Director of Bus and Coach.
In his new position, Mr Bycroft now assumes responsibility for the strategic development of Asset Alliance. He will continue to oversee coach and bus work, alongside that relating to the truck and trailer contract hire, leasing and finance sales divisions, as well as vendor finance and general asset finance.
Mr Bycroft has played a significant role in the growth of Asset Alliance’s coach and bus arm since the group acquired Forest Asset Finance – the business he co-founded with Darren Fitzpatrick – in 2015. In February, the coach and bus division exceeded £500 million in funding for vehicles.
Reporting to Mr Bycroft will be Commercial Director Martyn Bellis; Sales Director for Contract Hire and Leasing Paul Wright; Sales Director Bus and Coach Darren Fitzpatrick; Head of General Asset Finance Matt Board; and Head of Vendor Finance Anthony Jones.
Speaking about his promotion, Mr Bycroft says: “I am excited about the opportunities to grow all divisions in the Group. We have seen significant growth across the business over the last few years, particularly in the coach and bus, vendor finance and general asset finance divisions.
“I want to make sure that this progression continues, and that we maximise our capabilities to develop all areas of the business. All our budgets and forecasts point to another strong year ahead for Asset Alliance Group, and I am very confident that we are putting the right stepping stones in place to allow every division to prosper.”
