Brighton and Hove Buses has launched an environmental design competition for school children.

It asks children to design an ampersand relating to actions they can do which have a positive impact on the environment.

The two winners will get a family day onboard one of the company’s Spirit of Sussex coaches, free coach travel for a school trip and eco-friendly goody bags.

Shortlisted entries will be displayed on screens inside the company’s extended range electric buses.

The deadline for entries is 1800hrs 23 March.
