Stagecoach North East is assisting North of England Children’s Cancer Research (NECCR) and its 35th Children’s Cancer Run.

On your marks: (L to R, back to front) – Aman Sehgal, David Sharp (Stagecoach), Abigail Hewison (NECCR) and Maya Sehgal

The operator will be running a Metro shuttle service for the run on 21 March, and brings additional support as the event’s official transport partner.

The run is one of the largest single charity run events in Europe.

David Sharp, at the Sunderland head office, says: “We were delighted to come on board as transport partners this year and support such a fantastic event and much loved regional charity.

Every penny raised goes towards the work of the NECCR to improve the lives of children with cancer in the North of England.
