Bus staff who deliver the best in exemplary customer service, safety, accessibility and innovation were recognised at the annual London Bus Awards.
The Awards celebrate the excellence and outstanding work of London bus drivers, garage and support staff, who work hard every day behind the scenes to keep London moving and provide a vital service to millions of passengers every day.
The winners at the 2017 London Bus Awards were: Accessibility Champion – Tracey Palmer, Metroline; Actions above and beyond the call of duty – Ewulo Gbobaniyi, Tower Transit; Best Vehicle Care – Rainham Garage, Stagecoach London; Environmental Campaign Champion – Richard Harrington and Patrick Mahon, Go-Ahead London; Inspirational role model to colleagues in the bus industry – Helen Webster, Arriva London; On-the-road Support – Mitchell Chong, Bus Station Controller, Transport for London; Outstanding newcomer – Jayden McGuigan, Go-Ahead London; Safety Champion – Paul Edwards-Moss, Go-Ahead London; Hello London Award – Ian Holmes, RATP Dev London.
