In response to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) has set up a database for organisations which are in need for supply chain resources.
It has invited organisations which have available resource, including drivers and vehicles, to add their details to the database in order to help other organisations.
Kevin Richardson, Chief Executive, says: “As home working grows, so demand for public transport has fallen. We believe as a profession we can work together to meet this challenge.”
