Matthew Ashton, MD of Arriva Yorkshire and Yorkshire Tiger, has been elected Regional Chair of the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) Yorkshire.
Tom James, MD of York Pullman Coaches, has also been elected as Vice Chair, to represent the coaching side of CPT Yorkshire.
Matt Ashton has been Area MD of Arriva and Yorkshire Tiger since January 2018. Before that he was Head of Commercial at the operator.
Tom James is well known in the industry as long-standing MD of York Pullman, which is a CoachMarque operator and a member of the Guild of British Coach Operators.
Both were appointed via member vote.
