Go South Coast has appointed David Heckles as General Manager at Morebus, Damory and Excelsior.
His last post was at First Bus, where he was Operations Manager at its largest UK depot, covering Sheffield and Rotherham.
Originally from Bournemouth, David says: “I’ve been very much looking forward to taking up this new position, which is a homecoming for me – back to an area I am familiar with.
“I know I have joined an award-winning team, and am looking forward to meeting all of my new colleagues and our customers over the coming weeks.”
Go South Coast MD Andrew Wickham adds: “We are very selective when choosing candidates to join our senior team. We are thrilled that David has agreed to join us at this exciting time.
“His leadership skills and experience will prove invaluable over the coming months and years as we work to make further improvements to the services on offer from Morebus, Damory and Excelsior.”
David replaces outgoing GM Adam Keen, who has joined South Wales-based NAT Group.
