FlixBus UK has appointed James Barlow, 36, as Senior Operations Manager. He joins from Go-Ahead London, where he was most recently Operations Manager at its Stockwell garage.
Mr Barlow will be responsible for overseeing operational standards at the scheduled coach business and ensuring that its customers receive a quality experience. He will work closely with FlixBus UK’s growing number of coach operator partners.
Mr Barlow has been part of the transport industry for nine years and he won Outstanding Newcomer at the Transport for London Bus Awards in 2016. Experience of an operational nature will help in his understanding of the challenges faced by FlixBus UK partners, he notes, and his role will see him implement the business’s technology-first approach to improving operational processes.
FlixBus UK Managing Director Andreas Schörling has welcomed Mr Barlow to the expanded team.
