When two cars caught fire, Krystian Lobodziec assisted a member of the public to alert the residents of a nearby house.
The fire brigade had not yet arrived, and he made sure his bus was safe before helping.
A member of the public wrote in to Reading Buses to express thanks and nominate Krystian for the award.
Reading Buses HR Director Caroline Anscombe says: “This shows an extremely high level of bravery and a large degree of care that goes far beyond the call of duty.”
