Sam Prothero has been named Isuzu Coach Sales Specialist by EVM UK. The appointment will see him take responsibility for growing sales of the AOS Isuzu midicoach line-up offered by EVM that is made up of the front-engined Grand Toro and rear-engined Visigo models.

Mr Prothero has over two decades’ experience across sales, business development and fleet management in the commercial vehicle industry. EVM UK expects that he will drive what it terms “significant growth” for the AOS Isuzu products.

His career in coach sales thus far includes time spent with Volvo, Irizar, and Pelican Bus and Coach, while wider commercial vehicle experience includes positions with Iveco and Isuzu Truck UK. In the latter role he managed and expanded the UK dealer network.

EVM UK notes that foundations in business studies and a host of sales and management qualifications – including Financial Conduct Authority accreditation – will leave Mr Prothero in a strong position to drive sales of the Grand Toro and the Visigo.

Speaking about his appointment, Mr Prothero says: “I am thrilled to join EVM UK as part of its expert sales team. The Isuzu coach range represents incredible quality and value, and I look forward to driving growth and fostering strong relationships with new and existing customers across the UK.”

The Horsham business has welcomed Mr Prothero, noting that his experience in managing multiple dealership accounts, handling complex customer needs and consistently meeting sales targets “aligns perfectly with EVM UK’s dedication to providing top-tier service and tailored solutions for these clients.”

Adds Managing Director Danny McGee: “We are delighted to welcome Sam to our team. His extensive background and proactive, customer-centric approach are an excellent fit for our vision.

“We are confident that Sam will make a substantial impact in growing our Isuzu coach business across the UK.”
