SCP held an open door event with WISE (encouraging Women into Science and Engineering).
A group of 12 visited SCP’s Leeds office to learn about the careers that are available in transport planning, infrastructure design and civil engineering construction. The two-hour session focused on the variety of careers that the industry can offer.
SCP Director Steven Carmody says: “It was a great event and after initially worrying whether we would get many numbers in to make it a success, the final attendance demonstrated the appetite that the girls have for learning more about what we do.”
