Transport2 has appointed Richard Woods as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
With more than 25 years’ experience in the transport industry, Richard has held senior-level roles at major transport companies, such as Arriva and Stagecoach and brings with him a wealth of expertise from some of the sector’s foremost businesses.
Richard’s appointment comes during a period of major growth for Transport2 as it looks to establish itself as a major player in the mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) market. Following the recent acquisition of Momentum Hub Ltd, the business now has a headcount of more than 70.
Richard says: “Having spent my career driving excellence at some of the UK’s largest transport businesses, I had my eye on Transport2 for a while before officially joining the team. “
