Vincent Iveagh Moseley, 74, better known as ‘Vin’, passed away on 6 August at St Gemma’s Hospice, Leeds following a prolonged illness.

Vin was instrumental in establishing Moseley

Vin was instrumental in establishing Moseley as the UK’s largest and most successful independent coach importer and will be well known to many in the industry having started working at his father’s dealership based in Loughborough in the early 1960s.

During a long and distinguished career in the coach industry he forged relationships with numerous manufacturers including Caetano, Van Hool, Volvo and Bova as well as with many operators throughout the UK.

Paying tribute to his father, Karl Moseley said: “Vin was a man of integrity who was renowned for his organisational ability and attention to detail.

“He was also kind and generous, a real gentleman, and he will be much missed by all of us.”

The funeral is on Monday 21 August 2017 at 1345hrs at All Saints Church, Thorp Arch, LS23 7AH with a reception afterwards at Rudding Park Hotel, Rudding Lane, Harrogate, HG3 1JH.

Family flowers only please. Donations will be split between the hospice and the church.
