Two vintage buses will be on the road in Warrington in the run-up to Christmas to help raise funds for the local St Rocco’s Hospice.

Warrington’s Own Buses will be operating its Leyland PD2 and Volvo Olympian along journeys on The Cheshire Cat, The Pops and 16/16A routes on 21 December.

The bus company’s leadership will be joining Santa Claus on board to welcome customers with a chocolate, with fares from those journeys being donated to St Rocco’s.

“For a second year running, we will have our special buses out to spread some festive cheer,” says Cathy Mitchell, the company’s Chair.
