Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is creating bus stop displays using OmniSTOPdesign software from Omnibus, including for its CallConnect minibus services.
LCC has been an Omnibus customer since 2010. It has adopted OmniSTOPdesign to give its transport team more flexibility and control over bespoke bus stop displays.
OmniSTOPdesign makes creating bus stop displays easier, faster and flexible. The council has “total control” over styles, fonts, graphics, colours and paper size. That gives it the opportunity to fully incorporate its branding.
LCC’s transport team uses OmniSTOPdesign to generate templates that are ready to receive timetable data from OmniTIMES to create more displays. LCC has found the product easy to use, says Community Engagement and Promotion Officer Maria Lyon.
She also notes that training carried out by Omnibus has helped the easy adoption of OmniSTOPdesign.
“It is good to know that Omnibus offers such great support, and that it is happy to listen to our feedback on features that we feel would benefit each programme.
“It is also hugely reassuring to know that if I need any help using the software, someone can always assist.”
