I am surprised that nobody seems to have mentioned the huge elephant in the room. The EU is in shambles mode, has been increasingly so for some years.
The rattling of sabres by the likes of Italy, Spain, and Poland, and the likelihood that Marine Le Pen’s lot will take over France next time round, surely sounds the death knoll for the integrity of the organisation.
Brexit removes us from the danger of the whole lot falling on our heads when the EU does collapse in maybe five-10 years’ time.
