With our Vintage and Classic Transport Rally being all about celebrating vintage vehicles, we are very excited to announce that Regional Transport from Shrewsbury will be joining us at our annual Transport Rally on the 14 July with one of their nostalgic RMC Red Buses.
By providing their beautiful double Decker bus, Regional Transport will be offering free trips from the Ironworks to both Whittington Castle and Oswestry Town Centre throughout the day of the Transport Rally. This bus will be taking place every hour, on the hour, for a total of four hours.
With a capacity of over 50 people, this service will offer the perfect opportunity for Transport Rally visitors to enjoy both the rally and our fantastic surrounding town and villages, where everyone can enjoy what is on offer in our area.
Everyone who chooses to utilise this unique bus service will receive a free ice-cream to enjoy on their journey. We are offering these trips free of charge however your donations to the Ironworks are always gratefully received and will be used to improve our centre, events, and community support programmes, among a myriad of other aims and ambitions
With circa 500 classic and vintage cars in attendance last year, our 2019 Transport Rally is set to be even more of a hit.
We already have an incredible line-up of unique cars set to join the cavalcade so make sure you don’t miss out on seeing some truly amazing wheels.
The bus service on the day will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, we look forward to seeing you all aboard.
