Baumot UK’s new Service and Development Centre based at Mi-Vehicle Integration in Leyland is now up and running.
This month saw the first BNOx exhaust after treatment system being successfully installed into a Stagecoach ADL E300 following the earlier Millbrook accreditation of the Cummins 6.7ltr engine.
Following on from this, a Scania K360 9ltr E5 Irizar coach is now having a BNOx exhaust after treatment system installation carried out, and as a result of the successful accreditation of the Scania 9ltr OmnCity DD engine, the approval procedure for this coach model though Millbrook should be assured. Further installations are planned for DAF- and Volvo-engine coaches.
This month saw Baumot UK present at the CPT Coach Commission meeting outlining its development strategy for coaches going forward.
Baumot, in conjunction with Mistral Asset Finance, is now in a position to provide operators with quotations for the installation of the BNOx exhaust after treatment system.
