Chevin Fleet Solutions has unveiled the FleetWave Forms app.
Unlike most other fleet-specific apps on the market that are designed for specific tasks, it allows users to custom-build data collection forms and is, says Chevin, unique in its ability to fulfil wide job functions.
Users can share and receive business-critical information such as vehicle inspection reports, mobile technician worksheets, driver trip records, business expenses, accident inventory, risk assessments and much more.
Designed with drag-and-drop tools for ease of use, the software allows managers to create these bespoke data collection tasks using items such as drop-down questions, free text entry, date and time selection, geolocation capture and other criteria.
The creator can specify who can access each form based on a number of varying factors such as driver name, vehicle type, job role, department and others.
Staff then log in to view their forms, collect information and submit data back into FleetWave using either an iOS or Android device.
For those who don’t have time to build bespoke forms from scratch, standard fleet-related examples have been pre-configured ready for use. Future upgrades are already underway.
