Digital 2000 has announced that its fleet and workshop management system CheckPro is to be rebranded AssetGo. The change is in concurrent with the formation of a new business called Asset Go Solutions. It will come into effect by mid-November.

The rebrand will coincide with a major addition to AssetGo. AssetGo Planner will enable managers to gain “complete visibility” of their fleet maintenance activities. It will also allow users to gain a clearer view of their tasks. Further details will be provided before the upgrade goes live later this month.

Existing CheckPro users have been asked to download the AssetGo app from either the Apple Store or Google Play to take advantage of the upgraded functionality.

Says Digital 2000 Founder and Managing Director Matt Cotton: “Since launch, CheckPro has undergone significant development. It has evolved from a checklist tool to a comprehensive and versatile asset, fleet and workshop management system. With that in mind, we felt that the original name did not now fully reflect the system as it is today.”

Mr Cotton adds that it has always been his intention to set up the software side of the business as a separate entity.

“Due to the success of the system, we are now able to do that. The new identity had to satisfy the existing expectations of our marque while simultaneously moving the brand forward. We believe that the name AssetGo achieves that goal.”

Digital 2000’s TachPro brand, which supplies driver, vehicle and tachograph consumables, will remain within the business.
