Edwards Coaches of Llantrisant has switched to TruTac software for tachograph, driver and document analysis as part of a strengthening of its fleet management and compliance control.
The operator has installed TruAnalysis, TruDocs, TruDriver and TruView. That represents a selection from the TruTac software suite which works to manage driver monitoring and debriefing, infringements and working time, online compliance reporting and document storage and retrieval.
Says Training and Compliance Manager Stephen Tapper: “Since introducing TruTac’s software we have immediate access to real-time information from any portal concerning all aspects of the coach operation.
“Furthermore, should we ever need to provide information to DVSA, all documents can be instantly identified and retrieved. That saves times and ensures that we not only meet but exceed compliance obligations.”
He adds that one of the reasons that Edwards moved from the previous supplier to TruTac was because its product is more intuitive and user friendly.
Edwards operates almost 300 vehicles. It is among the UK’s largest coach companies and has a major involvement with National Express services that run into Wales. That gave a need for instant control and control.
