Further reduction in the total cost of ownership of Volvo coaches and buses can be realised thanks to the Swedish manufacturer’s relationship with Groeneveld and its Oilmaster product.
Oilmaster eliminates daily oil level checks and top-ups, improving efficiency.
It is more simple to fit Oilmaster as a factory part than as an aftermarket installation, and it finds its way around the globe, from European markets including the UK to an ongoing delivery of 300 buses to Hong Kong.
“The first Oilmaster test-fit on a Volvo was carried out in 2002 and since then Groeneveld has evolved into a first tier supplier to Volvo Bus,” says Groeneveld Lubrication Solutions Sales Director Bus Applications Johan Bood.
“In the early days, Oilmaster was installed with an external sensor for measuring the oil level, but nowadays it is fully integrated.
“At Groeneveld, we take pride in the fact that Volvo Bus offers Oilmaster ex-factory. It’s a huge acknowledgement of the product and process quality.
“Recently, our manufacturing operations in Italy received the ISO/TS 16949 certificate of quality. That shows that we take that product and process quality very seriously.”
