Irizar UK, supplier of the Spanish manufacturer’s DAF-engined integral coach range, is to hold an open house event between 25-27 August. It will be staged at the dealership’s newly opened National Sales Centre in Blyth, Nottinghamshire.
The National Sales Centre allows buyers to view the dealership’s entire stock of new and used coaches at one location. Its opening forms the first phase of development of a new home for Irizar UK, says Sales Director Julie Hartley. It also underlines the “determination of Irizar to maintain a presence in the UK market.”
Mrs Hartley adds that to reflect of the challenging circumstances currently being faced by the coach industry, sales incentives will be in place at the Irizar UK open house on new and pre-owned coaches. What is described as “any sensible offer” will be considered on used stock.
Continues Mrs Hartley: “Even if people are not currently in the market for a new or used coach, they are more than welcome to drop in to say hello, enjoy a cup of tea and have a chat.”
She points out that the dealership has “continued to support UK operators throughout the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.” Those steps have included the supply of air purifiers and cab screens.

Irizar UK head office functions remain at the company’s established base in nearby Worksop.
