Landflight adopts Velociti Solutions software

Solihull operator Landflight has adopted software from Velociti Solutions to optimise its efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

That will see paper-based systems replaced with modules from the supplier’s Omnibus Software Suits in an exercise that will also contribute to a reduction in costs.

The depot allocation module will streamline driver and vehicle management, including via precise recording of driver’s hours for payroll purposes. It will integrate seamlessly with control room systems.

Landflight is also introducing the Engage driver app to enhance workforce management. It offers real-time communication, efficient access to duty information and immediate notification of changes, ensuring seamless coordination between drivers and operational management.

The operator is additionally optimising processes by implementing timetabling, vehicle scheduling, rostering and TransXChange tools from Velociti. Those solutions will improve scenario planning, drive efficiencies through streamlined processes and minimise risks, the supplier says.

It adds that the Omnibus Software Suite “is an industry-leading end-to-end solution used by operators and transport authorities to optimise critical processes.” That sees the platform “cover all stages of service – before, during and after the day – allowing users to select and implement the models that best meet their unique needs.”

Speaking about the work with Velociti Solutions, Landflight Operations Manager Leigh Russell says: “Landflight is committed to providing efficient, accessible and reliable bus services.

“By modernising our operations with Velociti Solutions and implementing the Omnibus Software Suite, we will improve efficiency, gain greater control over our processes, and enhance the passenger experience.

“This partnership will streamline day-to-day operations and position us for long-term growth, allowing us to adapt swiftly to changing demands and elevate our service levels.”

Velociti Chief Customer Officer Nick Brookes says that the supplier is pleased to work with Landflight and that the client “is stepping into a new era of operational excellence, joining operators and transport authorities transforming their processes with our technology.”

He continues: “Together we are refining Landflight’s service delivery and equipping the operator with the tools to meet business objectives and drive long-term success.”
