Masabi, which says it “is bringing fare payments as a service to public transport,” has launched the BPay mobile ticketing app in Romanian capital Bucharest.
The app allows for cashless travel on buses with daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly tickets offered. It also delivers trip planning services.
Masabi’s Justride is claimed to be the world’s most widely deployed mobile ticketing platform. It removes the need for passengers to queue to pay. Masabi says it is quick to deploy and constantly updates with new functionality.
