Transport training organisation Novadata has welcomed Senior Traffic Commissioner (STC) Richard Turfitt’s call for continuous professional development for Transport Managers (TMs).

Says Chairman Derek Broomfield (pictured): “A TM CPC refresher course, which the STC recommended, takes two days and delivers excellent benefits.

“For a TM to be effective, they must be able to lead by example, and that means being up to date on the legal framework and best practice. That should be take at an OCR-approved facility, such as the Novadata examination centre.”
