Stoneridge fulfills smart tachograph support role

To support the introduction of smart tachographs and the continued use of earlier-generation units, Stoneridge offers a range of products and tools.

Its type-approved 1C smart tachograph, the SE5000 Connekt, launched in April. However, Stoneridge continues to produce the SE5000 Exakt Duo to support the aftermarket.

It can also provide the seals now required by smart tachographs, and its Optimo2 workshop platform has been revised to function with the latest units.

Additionally, Stoneridge’s OPTAC3 analysis software and download tools have been updated to comply with smart tachograph changes.
