Powersystems UK is part of a nationwide team that designs, installs, commissions and maintains electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure for vehicle manufacturers as well as operators.

It has been appointed to design, supply, install, test and commission the EV charging infrastructure for 22 BYD ADL Enviro200EV buses for First Glasgow. Powersystems will also be installing the client’s high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) infrastructure.

This will include HV substations, transformers, LV distribution switchgear and LV cables connecting to 80kW EV charging points.

Powersystems has been engaging with and assisting other major bus and fleet operators in the UK with their grid and infrastructure requirements as the nation moves further towards decarbonised transportation.

Powersystems UK has been assessed and accredited nationally by the Lloyds Register Accredited Contractor scheme to carry out grid connection services.
