Stertil-Koni has introduced its HDLT-20 heavy-duty lifting table, which the supplier says it engineered specifically for traction batteries in electric vehicles and other heavy vehicle components.
It can lift up to 2,000kg to a maximum height of 1,950mm. The HDLT-20 is described as a robust electro-hydraulic lifting table that is engineered for continuous workshop use.
Fitted is a unique centred scissor mechanism to ensure perfect balance under load. A wide base frame and optimised weight distribution minimise tipping forces.
A “finger-safe” scissor construction further enhances protection of the user. The unit is designed as a fully mobile scissor lift and operates cable-free to minimise trip risks. Internal forklift pockets enable easy relocation within the workshop.
Other specification elements include 17 mechanical locking positions, an emergency stop, and a strong footbrake. Technicians thus remain in full control at every working height. Fine-adjustment mechanisms for roll and pitch allow millimetre-accurate positioning, even when fully loaded to 2,000kg.
Stertil-Koni adds that with the HDLT-20 lifting table having been designed in accordance with EN 1570-1, it is compatible with dedicated EV battery support frames, giving flexibility for a wide variety of battery systems and commercial vehicle components.
A wired remote control provides clear visibility of critical alignment points. Adjustable lifting and lowering speeds enable technicians to work with precision when removing and refitting heavy components, the supplier continues.
Comments General Manager Derrick Peel: “With the growth of electric commercial vehicles, workshops need lifting equipment that is both safe and precise. The HDLT-20 provides the stability and control required for handling today’s heavier components, making it a valuable addition to our workshop lifting range.”
