Abellio London’s recently opened 107-bus depot in Southall has five sets of Stertil Koni wireless mobile column lifts to support maintenance activities there.
Each of the ST1075FWA-4 lifts provides a lifting capacity of 7,500kg per column. As a result, when used as a set of four, their combined capacity is 30 tonnes. Maximum height is 1.85m, which is reached in 75 seconds. A unique synchronisation system ensures smooth operation even when under an uneven load.
Each column has the eBright smart control system. It enables workshop staff to operate the units individually, in pairs or in any other combination from a single location. eBright also incorporates wireless mesh network connectivity and full colour touch screen consoles.
Long life, deep cycle batteries will last for at least a week on average before recharging is necessary. They can then be replenished via a 230v single-phase supply.
