Totalkare will have over 25 items of heavy duty and light commercial workshop equipment on its stand at the CV Show, which is to be held at the NEC Birmingham on 23-25 April.
Among items present will be mobile column lifts and a two-post lift, a vehicle inspection pit, a mobile brake tester, tyre changers, wheel alignment equipment, diagnostic tools, and more.
For mobile column lifts, a set of four T8DC units will be prominent. The T8DC has proved popular among coach and bus customers, and it has a safe lifting capacity of 7,500kg per column. The supplier says the mobile nature of the lifts is ideal in a crowded workshop. Both cabled and cable-free versions are available.
Nearby will be a vehicle inspection pit. Totalkare fabricates pits to suit workshop needs and they are available from lengths of 6m upwards. It adds that its pit-based offer can include “everything from preparation for the installation of standalone brake testers, to installation of multi-pit facilities and underground workshops.”
Following a recent partnership agreement with Hunter Engineering, Totalkare will be staging live demonstrations of what it calls a “game-changing heavy duty wheel alignment system” at the CV Show.
The precise sensors and software fitted to the unit allow accurate measurement and adjustment of wheel alignment parameters, which Totalkare says will significantly enhance vehicle safety, tyre longevity, and fuel efficiency.
Meanwhile, tyre changers will also be prominent in the Totalkare line-up. It says that such tools have already proved to be popular additions to its range, and allow easy removal and replacement of tyres, and wheel servicing.
Tyre changers are often purchased alongside a wheel balancer and wheel alignment equipment. “They make light work of repetitive tasks in the workshop, automating much of the process to reduce physical strain on operatives,” the supplier continues.
Marketing Manager Steve Braund says that the CV Show is one of Totalkare’s key calendar events, and that the business values the opportunity to meet customers and demonstrate equipment. “Our team will be on hand to offer advice on the best lifting and testing solutions, and our extensive range of comprehensive service and maintenance options.”
