Tranzaura has debuted the artificial intelligence-powered FleetNow platform that it says will drive a reduction in costs across the fleet sector, including coach and bus operations.
The product can pinpoint how much expenditure is wasted and time lost, and highlight where savings can be made. In addition, it can highlight data around items such as fuel use, carbon savings, or where a vehicle will need maintenance.
Such an approach could optimise fleet operations “by up to 30%,” the supplier claims. It adds that FleetNow is set to serve 500 global fleets in its first year, with Tranzaura noting strong existing relationships in many areas including Transport for London bus operator contractors.
Head of Marketing Emma Gill says that coach and bus is central to FleetNow. “The product is all about being able to get fleet intelligence at an operator’s fingertips on any element of their operation, whether it be costs, compliance, maintenance, fuel or others, all with a goal of reducing costs and increasing operational efficiency and utilisation,” she continues.
“It also leverages the growing call for AI tools in the sector and was a response to an intensified need from our customers and the market that was having to deal with the consequences of managing lots of disconnected systems, as well as limited access to actionable, trusted information about the operation in one place.”
Ms Gill adds that existing Tranzaura clients in the bus field are set to roll out FleetNow. They will be joined by other bus operators over the coming six months that “have been attracted by the offering – which again adds to our growing market share in the sector.”
CEO Shane Mann says: “FleetNow revolutionises how fleets leverage data, offering real-time speed and precision to drive smarter decision-making.” He adds that it is poised to save many administration hours per month.
Use of AI-based innovation sits with ambitious growth plans for Tranzaura, with the supplier saying that it expects to grow its workforce by 50% in 2025.
