Global Michelin licensee Wheely-Safe has secured a second national award for its Michelin Wheel Safe product at the Brake Fleet Safety Awards.
Wheel Safe is the world’s first in-motion driver alert system to detect the onset of wheel loss before detachment. It also has a sensor to warn against brake and hub overheating. Additionally, a tyre pressure management system gives drivers and fleet managers added peace of mind.
It follows success in the Transport Technology of the Year category at the National Technology Awards 2019.
